NumbersUSA now has a fax you can send to your representative to support
Tancredo's bill that reduces H-1B to 65,000 per year. They have 3
choices of
text which I show below. I chose the 3rd option. They also allow a
custom
comment which I included at the bottom of the page.
There are also have numerous faxes dealing with illegal immigration and
national security issues so I hope most of you get into action and do
something about H-1B. If we just complain amongst ourselves about H-1B
Congress won't hear. NumbersUSA is spending money on this fax service to
fight our battle. I think we should show them that we appreciate their
support.
Go to http://www.NumbersUSA.com/fax. You must sign up but NumbersUSA
respects your privacy. You must supply your name and address because
these
are letters sent to Congress. Congresspeople will throw away anonymous
email
and letters. They only care about voters in their district so don't
waste
your time if you feel uncomfortable with sending faxes with your name on
it.
If you receive responses from your Congressman please either mail me a
copy
or scan it and I will post it online.
H.R. 3222 would reduce the number of H-1B visas granted annually.
Please
cosponsor this legislation.

Text Choice 1:
As signs of a recession continue to grow, I can't help but wonder why
our
government is continuing to import foreign high-tech workers at record
levels.
As a result of the increases passed by Congress last year, H-1B visas
are
now at an all time high and close to half a million foreign high-tech
workers will come to the United States over the next three years as a
result.
Surely there are unemployed and underemployed Americans who could fill
those
jobs!
Please support a reduction in the annual limit of H-1B visas and
provisions
that would allow for fluctuations of the cap based on unemployment
rates.
..................
Text Choice 2:
American programmers and other high-tech workers are being laid off, yet
we
continue to import foreign, high-tech workers. WHY?
In light of fact that our economy has slowed and unemployment rates are
rising, doesn't it seem sensible that we should re-evaluate our foreign
worker importation programs?
H.R. 3222 would do just that. It would reduce the number of H-1B visas
to
its tradition level of 65,000 a year and allow for further reductions
based
on unemployment rates if necessary.
American workers have little protection against the H-1B program. It
displaces many workers and depresses wages others.
Please rethink this foreign worker importation program.

Text Choice 3:
Under current law, close to half a million foreign high-tech workers
will be
admitted to the U.S. over the next three years, an all-time high!
At a time of increased layoffs and rising unemployment rates (especially
in
high-tech fields), one must question the sense in continuing to import
foreign high-tech workers.
American workers have no protection against this government sponsored
worker
replacement program. Any company, once they acquire an H-1B worker, can
let
another go.
H.R. 3222 would reduce the annual limit on H-1B visas to 65,000 a year
and
allow for a reduction in such numbers based on U.S. unemployment rates
if
necessary.

My custom comment:
The job market in Arizona is terrible. Your support of H-1B has put
hundreds
of tax paying Arizonans on the unemployment role. If you have any doubt
about the damage H-1B has done to Arizona I invite you to come to my
website
at www.ZaZona.com.
